I'm passionate about creating things. My belief is that architecture is one of the few remaining professions that honestly combines art and functionality. My definition of design stems from this marriage of otherwise mutually exclusive ways of looking at the world. In our increasingly segmented society of disconnection, we need more interdisciplinary thinking and understanding to see the value in hidden connections. Inspired, or 'ineffable space' as Corbusier called it, is the embodiment of successful design that captures the imagination by merging utility and aesthetic quality. Goethe said that 'architecture is frozen music'. Expression through the guitar, harmonica and keys enables me to be a better designer.
